Short, because there is not much to agree to
On the free path there is no account and no subscription. On a paid plan you have a subscription with the payment provider and still no account with us. What is left is mostly the warranty disclaimer every piece of software carries.
The software
Coredence is provided as it is. It is a young product built by one person; it will have bugs, and a rule it writes about you may simply be wrong. Nothing it produces should be treated as a professional assessment of anybody, including you.
Your data
Your identity is a file on your machine. We never receive it, cannot recover it, and are not a party to it. Backing it up is yours to do — the whole thing is one SQLite file, so a copy is a copy.
The paid plan
The one thing that costs money is distillation: the plan where we run the model. You buy a monthly allowance, measured in tokens; the pricing page says how much. The allowance does not carry over — each month starts again.
Lemon Squeezy takes the payment. The sale and the tax run through them, and your card details never reach us. You have no account with us either: the server keeps only the licence key and the tokens that key has spent, never your name or your email.
You can leave the subscription whenever you want. Distillation stops; your identity stays on your machine exactly as it is. If you move to a higher plan while your allowance is spent, the new allowance applies immediately; a change made before it runs out can take up to an hour to show, because the licence check is held for that long.
Withdrawal and refunds
You can withdraw within 14 days of buying a plan. The distillation allowance you have used by then is deducted and the rest is refunded. If you have distilled nothing, all of it comes back.
How much you used is measured rather than estimated: the server already counts the tokens spent against each licence, and the refund comes out of that number. Write to support@coredence.com to ask for one; Lemon Squeezy collects the payment, so the refund comes from there.
Leaving the subscription stops the next renewal. There is nothing else to do for the month you leave in.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the software is provided without warranty of any kind, and the maker is not liable for loss arising from using it. If your jurisdiction gives you rights that cannot be waived, this does not take them away.
Licence
What you may and may not do with the software is on the licence page, including why the source is not published and what is public instead.
Changes
If these terms change, the changed version is published here. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no list.
