The identity is yours; only distillation costs money
The identity lives on this machine and reading it is never charged. The one thing that costs money is distillation — the model call that turns what you wrote into rules. Run it on your own key and you pay us nothing.
The free path first
Download the app, then pick your own key or your installed Claude Code subscription during setup. On this path you pay Coredence nothing, and no feature is held back.
Your Claude Code subscription
Runs on the subscription you already pay for: no per-token charge, it comes out of your own quota.
Your own API key
The key stays on this machine; calls go from your account to your provider. No ceiling, at cost.
A model on your machine
With Ollama the identity is distilled without touching the network at all. No account, no key, no charge — it fits up to roughly two hundred rules.
If you would rather not bring a key
For people who do not want to open a provider account, mint a key and watch a bill. We hold the key; you enter a licence. The identity still lives on your machine — the only thing that changes is whose account the distillation request goes through.
Starter
$12/month
~6,000 events
One project, a few hours a day.
Pro
$29/month
~15,000 events
About what a developer working with an assistant all day produces.
Max
$59/month
~36,000 events
Several machines, years of archive, reading back through it.
The prices are settled and the engine's plan path works. What is missing is the purchase: there is nowhere to buy a licence yet. Today you distil with your own key or with the Claude Code subscription you already have. When it opens, entering the licence in the setup screen is all it takes.
The event counts are measured, not guessed: at three hundred rules, with real event sizes, from the engine's own cost model. They fall as the identity grows — every distillation request also carries all of the rules. The app's Pending distillation line always shows where the allowance is going.
The same on every plan
A plan only changes the distillation allowance. The product itself is not split: paying gets you more allowance, not more features.
The identity is on this machine
The database is on your disk, under your user. We hold no copy; leave the plan and the identity stays with you.
Unlimited reading
There is no limit on how often your assistants read the identity. Writing is what costs, not reading.
Every source
Claude Code sessions, git history, notes, chat exports — all of them are open on every plan.
Export
Take your identity out as JSON or Markdown whenever you want. Nothing is locked in.
14-day withdrawal
The distillation allowance you used is deducted and the rest is refunded. Distil nothing and all of it comes back. How much you used is counted by the server, not estimated.
What an event is
An event is one thing that was read: a commit message, a turn in a conversation, a note. The engine groups them into windows, sends them to the model, and rules come back. The docs explain how.
You do not need a plan to start
Download it, set it up, produce your first identity. A plan is only needed when you would rather not bring your own key, and nothing today asks you for one.
